Benjamin Shute graduated from Indiana University in 2013, majoring in Political Philosophy. From there he attended the Indiana University Maurer School of Law, and graduated in 2016. While in law school, Benjamin actively served on the student government association and various academic committees and earned multiple CALI awards. He coached the mock trial competition team as well, and was ultimately elected to the Order of the Barristers. Throughout law school, Benjamin clerked for Catholic Charities, the U.S. Department of Justice, and the Marion County Prosecutor's Office in Indianapolis. Benjamin is an active member in the Virginia State Bar, having written numerous articles for Bar publications, and serving as a District Representative for the Young Lawyer's Conference 6th District.
